Meet Dr. Sansalone

Dr. Sansalone joined Island Oral Facial And Implant Surgery in the Fall of 2007. He was born in Montreal, Quebec and moved, at an early age, to Niagara Falls, Ontario. He attended the University of Toronto St. George Campus, where he obtained his Honour's Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He followed this with four years at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry, and in 2002, received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. A one-year General Practice Residency followed at the University Health Network/Toronto General Hospital. He then continued his education, again at the University of Toronto in the Oral and Maxillofacial and Anaesthesia programme. Here he also received his Master of Science degree. In June of 2007, he successfully obtained his Fellowship from the Royal College of Dentists in Canada. He is currently affiliated with Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Dr. Sansalone moved to Nanaimo with his wife, Leslie, a native of Vancouver.
